If the player chose the option to drain 50% of the unit's health and fought the additional battle, then their chances of success in the second fight are slim to none. The final choice comes upon completing the battle, when the player finds the body of Tyre, who was the person interred in the tomb in the first place. Regardless of the choice in the previous battle, Thast and his company will be thrust into another fight against the Heritors. Luckily for Thast, the Kir'Ko rely more on organic units and they had a much better chance of dealing with the Heritors. The submit option will allow one of the defenders to join Thast's unit, while the destroy option starts a battle against a group of Heritor machines. The Heritors are like an ancient Egyptian version of the Borg and they possess the power to tear machines apart, which would make them especially deadly against factions with lots of vehicles (like the Dvar). The second choice pits Thast and his unit against the defenders of the tomb, where the player can choose to destroy them or submit peacefully to their demands.
